Welcome to the Republic of Matlandia!
The Republic of Matlandia is a self-proclaimed unrecognized independent sovereign country and micronation located in the Republic of Serbia. Matlandia declared independence on November 25, 2024, and since then it has been growing and developing its country and culture every day!
Since the day of its founding, we have designed our national symbols (flag, coat of arms and anthem), Constitution, Government and ministries, army, citizenships, passports, cities and provinces... We are in the process of establishing our currency.
In the meantime, we have established friendly diplomatic relations with other micronations, and are even allied with some (Republic of Molossia, Grand Duchy of Westarctica, Kingdom of Terrestia, Empire of Wolgostanska, Republic of Savalistan...). In addition, we are also a member of European Micronational Economic and Security Alliance (EMESA), an organization for micronations.
